Queen Anne's County offers a Long Driveway Grant Program to help residents whose homes are located far from existing broadband infrastructure connect to high-speed internet service. The county covers 90% of the construction cost to extend broadband down a long driveway, up to a maximum grant award of $13,500 per household. The resident is responsible for the remaining 10%. Eligible properties must have internet service available at or near the end of the driveway (within approximately 1,500 feet) and must not fall within another grant-funded broadband build area. Approximately 106 addresses may be eligible, and residents can verify eligibility using the County's grant application map. Program guidelines were revised in January 2026.
