Maryland Food and Agricultural Resiliency Mechanism Grant Program (MFARM)
$5,000 – $40,000 per award
About this opportunity
The MFARM grant program helps food-insecure Marylanders access nutritious food while creating a market for local farmers and seafood providers. It provides grants to Maryland food banks, charitable emergency food providers, and nonprofits (including faith-based/bona fide religious organizations) to purchase agricultural and seafood products from the Certified Local Farm and Chesapeake Invasive Species Provider Directory and deliver them to families in need. Grant funds can also cover transportation and distribution of agricultural and seafood products, as well as staff and supplies up to 20% of the grant amount.
