About this opportunity

The PACT grant supports law enforcement agencies across Maryland with developing effective accountability procedures to achieve lawfulness and legitimacy while enhancing community relations and transparency. Funds are intended to increase safety and training for law enforcement, promote safe communities, and encourage community engagement between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The program was developed to help law enforcement departments comply with the Maryland Police Accountability Act of 2021. Applicants partnering with ENOUGH-eligible communities receive bonus points during scoring.
