The Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Fund (Trust Fund) funds non-point source pollution control projects to accelerate restoration of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Coastal Bays. It targets financial resources toward the most efficient and cost-effective projects to reduce nutrient and sediment pollution, restore streams and floodplains, enhance riparian buffers and forests, improve wetland ecosystems, and manage stormwater. The program also builds local capacity through technical assistance and advances restoration science through innovative technology and project monitoring.
