About this opportunity
This program funds organizations to address critical gaps in healthy food access for children and families by co-locating food assistance programs at Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) school sites. Grantees establish, expand, or maintain school-based food assistance programs in partnership with MCPS, developing program models for new schools and addressing food resource needs identified by school personnel. Applications are submitted through the eCivis grants portal following a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Awards are eligible for renewal annually, pending successful performance outcomes, grant administration compliance, and fund appropriation.
