About this opportunity

The Prince George's County Department of the Environment, Sustainable Energy (SE) offers reimbursement grants to owners of existing commercial office and multifamily buildings in Prince George's County who are Pepco and/or Washington Gas customers. The program funds installation of energy conservation measures (ECMs), energy and water efficiency retrofits, EPA ENERGY STAR® certification, and adoption of green leasing best practices. The grant covers costs for energy auditing, benchmarking in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, and installation of electric and natural gas conservation measures. Buildings must show at least a 20% reduction in total energy costs, kilowatt-hours, and therms, and must maintain ENERGY STAR certification for at least three years after receiving funding.
