About this opportunity

Track 1 of the SB 1 Sea Level Rise Adaptation Grant Program supports sea level rise (SLR) adaptation planning for jurisdictions at all stages of the planning process. Funding may support activities that contribute to or culminate in development of an SLR Adaptation Plan. To reflect the different planning frameworks across California’s coast and San Francisco Bay, eligible projects are organized into three categories: Outer Coast Projects: Outer Coast projects generally follow a phased planning process that precedes and supports a Local Coastal Program (LCP) update, where applicable.
